Current SIN - KUL in Business is 6 TPs for c300 = 50 per TP, BUT there is the small point of getting to SIN or KUL in the first place, which will generally mess up the per TP maths.
Good point Nick. But I would suggest this...
A RTW on LLCs except KUL-SIN.
London to KUL on Air Asia.
KUL to SIN on Singapore Air
SIN to OZ (anywhere) on Tiger
OZ (Anywhere) to SYD on Virgin Blue and/or JetStar
SYD to LAX on V Australia
LAX to BOS on Virgin America
BOS to London via Ireland on Aer Lingus
It was impossible to book via the website last night as it kept crashing (I'd managed to tempt DL the Elder into a trip). The offer is now over and the fares loaded back to their original prices. Hopefully they'll run something similar before the celebration period ends.Congrats to those who managed to snag a bargain.

The website was down this morning I noticed.
When I checked our seats online, I could choose any of them, apart from 2 already selected. So my guess is that until we booked, there were only 2 people in the UC cabin on our outbound flight to Hong Kong.
The Low price is back to 3619.20.

Just a point of order in mcmbenjamin's suggested itinerary - Tiger's only international gateway into Oz is via Perth. They dropped Darwin last year. So unless going to Perth it is a long way round to get to the east coast.
VS have had some rather good fares ex Syd too - but don't want to come back to the UK at the moment and US via the UK is just too far.

This fare is even better now considering the new sale fare to sydney is now 2,700. I cant wait to go to sydney and especially now i get to experience upper class
) what a summer/ aus-winter i'll have.

To be honest, around that time, there were a few airlines offering the same route at the same price. I saw an Emirates advert at the same price as Virgin, and a few days later BA launched the 2 for the price of 1. Which was a better deal if you had to pay for 2 seats.
That being said, like you I am very happy with the price, and my first trip down under, and it will renew me Gold in a year when I did n't think I'd do it.
