Through many years of research, I can even tell the difference between British Coke and US Coke. xx( xx(

I believe Irn Bru is available on the GLA-MCO flights.

I was told it tastes slightly different as the water varies although the actual recipe stays the same.

I'm the same! Which do you prefer? For some reason (I can't quite figure out why) I prefer the US version of Coke.

British Coke all the way - it just tastes a lot nicer. US Coke just seems to be missing a lot of taste that the UK version has.

Different regional versions of the same product often contain slightly different ingredients due to specific country regulations etc.

In the US, Coke seasonally make product sweetened with sugar rather than HFCS so that it is suitable for consumption during Passover.

It's identifiable by a yellow border to the "wave" of the Coke logo on the can/bottle.

A friend in the US usually buys up to a pallet of this stuff from a cash-and-carry when it's available, and then drinks it during the course of the year, because he prefers the taste of it to the HFCS-sweetened rubbish.

It still never ceases to amaze me that one can of non-diet soft drink can still contain about 34 grams of sugar (that's approx. 9 tea-spoons per can and more than 10% of the total amount!!)

I'm pleased to see the Virgin branded soft drinks go - never did like them personally. Admittedly, I may drink mainly tonic water on a flight (perhaps with a certain "additive"!) I've heard that Virgin are not over generous with their loading of soft drinks back in Economy on the MCO runs - it's apparently quite common for them to run out of soft drinks on these flights. Lets hope they load a few more in future (I did say "hope", as drinks clearly = weight, which = fuel).

They don't normally run out of soft drinks, it's the hard stuff they stop serving, they up lift the liquor for the out bound and in bound flight, so they try and save some for those coming home.

The Vegas flight is well known to shut down the bar service very early.
