Or have both ???

One doesn't want to be greedy now hey Tontybear lol, but I guess that is an option.

I can say that the watercress and potato soup is quite nice, pork was ok, not a disaster, steamed pud is nice. And again the burger is great!

Am I right that it's the same menu on the Caribbean flights? Off to BGI a week today - whoo-hoo - and as a picky eater, want to know if I need to take something with me!

Just back off the VS16 where I had the Grilled chicken take-out style salad with tandoori Caesar dressing for a starter which is *cough* different.

Not at all what I expected. You get a cardboard tub which is three quarters filled with lettuce with a layer of chicken pieces on top with chop-sticks to eat it with.

Also had the fish for main, although I couldn't eat much of this as at the time it was served we where traveling through quite a bad spell of turbulence and I just cannot eat when it starts getting bumpy :$

Thanks for that - I'm not flying back so no worries there.

Whatever you do, don't attempt the pie with cherry tomatoes in gravy. It's insanely awful. ): ): ):

It certainly does sound pretty awful. I'm veggie so I'll stick to soup and sweet.

Stone arse cold too! Most people seemed to be unimpressed with it on my flight today. The crew were constantly saying "Yes, it's different".

Lol shouldn't a salad be cold?

Looking forward to your TR!! :)

Yes, but it was REALLY cold... had to leave it to warm up first.

Hopefully get round to doing them soon :)

Has anyone else heard the horrible rumours about starters and deserts?

I hear that they are going to be replaced with a "lighter selection of nibbles" option? So sounds like starters will go from 2 mouthfuls to 1, and desert wont leave you feeling full.

For those wondering about the langoustine lobster....

It's not one of these bad boys:

But rather, one of these:

Langostino is Spanish for prawn.

Enjoy!! :o)
