Yes that counts as 'suspiscious' activity

It's a lot of activity in a short space of time and they *might* be thinking that you maybe booking people on flights using your miles and then taking cash for them especially if there are a range of names attached to the bookings.

Something similar happned to someone on the BA board on flyer talk recently.

You will probbaly get a letter asking you to confirm certain details and affirm that these were all legit and you wern't taking money in return etc.

Thanks for that tontybear

The trip to NBO was for a group holiday for a friends wedding and everything else was family travel. I can see with hindsight how it would flag up so to speak. Lets see when the letter arrives and how I can prove im not selling the miles but just treating friends and family to holidays

I'm sure it is all legit and you will satisfy them.

The BA story was something similar - lots of bookings in a short space of time using all sorts of different names - innocent in themselves but when combined it just set up a flag

I think airlines are very wary of people buying 'reward' tickets and selling them on etc.

Well have just logged in online and account is back, no explanation at all! I rang in twice over 2 weeks no calls returned or any explanation given. Virgin really need to sort this out and provide some sort of communication to members whose accounts are suspended and at least provide an explanation v(
