This is the main V-Flyer Forum for general discussion of everything related to flying with Virgin-branded travel companies.

Whatever, I hope that you have a great trip y) y)

Yes, when I saw you I said surgery not treatment :P .

I too hope you have a great trip, for some their first time in UC is life changing ... let's not forget that.

georginac, this board can sometimes be a little testy, and words on a forum will always sound harsher than words spoken, please consider that?

If you want real opprobrium on an internet forum you should read airliners.net forums, or the BA forum on flyertalk.com - the people there can be amazingly rude, they're all pussycats here, well except ii) (I can't say)!

HWVlover wrote:I think that the reaction to your "Not worrying about eating in CH, as waiting for on-board" has been prompted by the fact that the food in the Clubhouse will almost certainly be significantly better than you are going to get on-board nevermind the rather different environment. y)

I would just add that after your posts in another thread about the menus onboard and how you cannot eat certain foods then the suggestion to eat something in the Clubhouse is very sensible.

Food options can be more easily "tailor-made" in the Clubhouse than onboard where the food is normally reheated after already been prepared on the ground. I have ordered items in the Clubhouse before without certain ingredients and it is no hassle at all. I would definitely suggest eating something in the Clubhouse as with your dietary requirements you made find it a little more difficult onboard without ordering a special meal.

I meant to type

'Am not sure what you mean by 'Now how does this work (re treatments) ...?'

It just seamed a strange way to phrase the question thats all!

As others have said, the replies to your questions are from people who have genuinly tried to answer your questions and give advice to try and help you have the best experience in the CH and on board.

No one is telling you that you must or must not do anything you don't want to.

Eat in the CH or don't - the choice is yours but at least consider looking at the menu when you get there.

Try a mojito or not (a v-flyer tradition) but at least consider it (personally its a horrible drink! but I did try it)

Yes try to have a facial and/or make over by all means but be prepared to have to consider something else (or not being able to have one at all)

Above all enjoy YOUR trip.

Please don't be offended by any comments on here...all V-Flyers are here to offer their comments and opinons..no-one has any intention of being offensive or rude, we are all here to help each member in any way they can..I for one have been eternally grateful for all the help I have received and only been a member for a very short time...stay in the membership and consider every ones opinions ...that's all they are..personal opinions, not instructions. Whichever you choose,.... enjoy your trip..maybe you could give us a TR afterwards..good,bad or indifferent..it all helps.

BTW..I too have re-invented myself for personal reasons , don't be hard on yourself..get on with things...not every one in this World means harm...absolutely certainly not on here
Cheers

I have BIG apologies to make. In no way was I dis-respecting either OP or Daywalker with my comments about the wookie/ewok. I think he is mega-cute, but early hours of Sunday morning took over. :# This is our first family holiday with Virgin, our first family holiday alone without other members of our family for support and guidance outside Europe. To have an internet family available with so much good UNBIASED advice, is worth more than any travel agent can give. At the end of the day, an agent is a sales person. V-Flyer family give advice with no financial gain, just honest personal experiences. Sometimes those experiences aren`t suitable to others, but that is exactly why this site is perfect for newbies and experienced travellers alike. We don`t travel until Easter 2012, and V-Flyer will have an indepth trip report every step of the way - THANKS GUYS for all of your help so far along the way. y)

I wasn't offended in the slightest, no apology needed & don't worry about it y)
People do seem to get upset easily on internet forums, I type most of my risqué comments with a huge smile on my face. It's difficult to convey even with smilies :D

Recently on two different threads you have accused this site of being a clique and that this forum is not for you.
I get the feeling you have an ulterior motive regards your postings. And whatever the response the outcome would have been the same.
This site and its members are uncomplicated and are very friendly & helpful which you have failed to identify.

I really don't see that this thread has anywhere left to go and to save it heading down the obvious direct by going personal and OT I am going to lock it.

Thanks,
