8am? Such lightweights! Some of us have been known to start to party much earlier - as soon as the Clubhouse opens its doors!

While its still on a loop, and with the limited set of outward and return choices, the UC IFE on LGW flights are on a 10" screen which I think is bigger than the PE/Y screens (been a while since PE)...

I found it ok. The rest of UC was fine.

It'll be fine, there's loads worse out there - there are plently of long haul (12-13 hour) flights operating using screens hanging from ceilings still. You'll find the same inconsistencies on other carriers such as Emirates too.

When it comes to people saying the IFE was 'rubbish' (and variations thereof) it really comes down to either

(a) the system didn't work / lines on the screen etc / wasn't as good as the system on another airline.

or

(b) they didn't like the selection of films shown


I wish people would actually say which it was rather than a bland 'rubbish IFE'

Honey lamb - we're up at 5am to get to the airport, but 8am is an early enough start! Especially since we land in vegas, got the stocked limo to the hotel, then VIP check-in at Hotel (so free drinks there too...) Then up to the room at 14:30 in the afternoon (after some 18hrs+ of travelling, and partying), quick shower, mini-bar and hey-presto - Party time!!!!!!!
