Why have they put that new page up? (Special Offers).

The flight search doesn't work, can't select class and comes up with an error. Why is it up when it just doesn't work or hasn't gone live?

Edit: must be temperamental as can do it now?

Just gone onto the Upper Class page, looks like bits of formatting have been lost, also why is there a photo of DTCI when talking about taking the train?
Just like the VAA retail therapy website, a cabin shot of Virgin America?!

Sounds like a project being driven by date rather than quality of delivery...a fact of life (unfortunately).

Nnother niggle - got an email on Monday (November isse of 'well red') that states

Our Economy meal experience has just got a fabulous makeover. You’ll find cleverly designed innovations and sprinkles of theatrical glamour.

From a welcome cocktail, to food that’s served in courses to give you time to enjoy it properly, and from sweet bowls to hot chocolate – you’ll be able to taste a seriously delicious difference.


So once again they are promiting something that they don't offer on all flights (food served in courses) and the use of 'welcome cocktail' implies 'when you get on the plane and sit down' and not 'on request on the drinks run'

Does no one on VS read the posts on here or those on FB and (I bet) loads of emails sent direct to them too that have complained about the new service not being that described in emails such as this?

Not sure exactly what a niggle is but I think it means a small, ongoing annoyance. I would have to say that overall I love flying VS (or I wouldn't have done so for well over 20 years) BUT after all these years (and one brief fling with Gold) I wish Silver actually meant something. Like maybe an extra suitcase? A PE meal in Y? A glass of fizz? Pre-boarding? A welcome? An upgrade lottery? A cumulative year of Gold? A CH visit once every X trips?

Inconsistent Cabin experience. I hate this so much.

ORD-LHR, 2/10. Service requests unanswered, missing luggage, wasn't served a meal?!!!!?

LHR-ORD, 9/10. Beautiful cabin, beautiful crew, great meal service choices, awesome service over all, great experience.

This shouldn't be, and it's something they need to work on.

Those horrible toilets! Maybe I'm expecting too much but having paid a lot for an UC seat, I'd really appreciate a loo that is a bit larger than a telephone box and one that doesn't smell!
