Such a shame Waitrose dont do this FF offer, I dont think any offer no matter how good to tempt me into Tescos.

I'm glad of the addition, I regularly struggle to spend my Clubcard vouchers, not any more.........

I converted my WHOLE tesco clubcard points account, and the 625 miles credited today after I spoke to clubcard services and gave them my FC #. Didn't get the 1000 bonus though, maybe that will come later.

Me too - it took just one day to be credited to my FF account.

But, as others pointed out in the now infamous Facebook thread, a box of Kellogg's Cornflakes or a jar of Nescafe tastes the same whichever shop you buy if from. 8D

A tin of HP beans may cost the same, however I find the service to be leagues ahead, I like the Quick Scan service, and find the choice of some top end products to be wider.

We do Tesco online so it's delivered to our house. Well worth £3 to avoid having to go to the shop!

Penny, I was surprised at how quickly they got their act together too - I did mine on Tuesday and had the Miles the next day.

No 1,000 bonus points here yet though

It took about 3 days for my Clubcard vouchers to be exchanged and reach my VS FC account, no sign of any bonus yet either....

I dont think we will get the bonus till end of Feb, when the offer closes

My reading is that once you sign up then all your club card points get transferred to VS FC and don't stay in your Tesco Account. Is that correct?

I don't have a club card (no tesco near Tonty Towers apart from a garage and the big one is not in walking distance) but if I did sign up and buy something would I get the 1,000 miles even if I never used the account again? (yes I admit it I am miles whoring a bit!)

on the Clubcard website the minimum amount of points you can convert is £2.50 worth, so thats a spend of £250

Only if you "Auto Opt In". Alternatively you can continue to wait for the card points statement and attached Clubcard vouchers then trade in to the value you wish;

"Choose the value of vouchers you would like to exchange and click 'add to basket'"

Also, even with the "Auto Opt In" I think the card points will only get transferred on the statement date, which is every 3 months. This could prove significant if were attempting to accumulate points / miles for a particular trip.

Seems an ok deal, never really use the club card points so signed up for the miles even though wont be many as only really buy diesel at Tesco! Every little helps as they say - credit those 1,000 bonus miles

Well it looks like I've found something useful for all those point I'd collected from EON. My gas/electric is with EON who do clubcard points. I've now set these up to automatically convert to FC miles. Happy days.

no sign of the bonus miles here either.

Bonus miles might not get added until after the cut off date of 29th Feb. that way they can do a mega upload of all auto-opt-ins?

I'm sure I read somewhere that with any bonus miles, it will take up to 28 days for them to be credited to your account after the original ones are added.

Copy of email response from Tesco received this morning:-

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that the 1000 bonus miles are being credited by Virgin as this is their promotion.

As far as we are aware these will be added by Virgin after the promotion ends on the 29th February.
