I missed it. :(!

We now have UTV Ireland but it shows different programmes at times apart from the staples like Corrie and Emmerdale. In addition my Series Link is currently not working and not picking up fixture recordings and to add to matters, I keep thinking today is Friday because Aer John is home!!

It's on iPlayer for those interested.

Average to say the least. This episode had nothing to do with VS at all. Same old airport show. Next week's episode is about the arrival of the A380... Are we sure this is the same show?

Well the first episode of the ITV Heathrow documentary was a bit meh... Have no idea what the idea behind the show is?!

What annoyed me was showing shots of Police/Ambulance or whoever pulling up outside Terminal 5 and then suddenly being inside Terminal 3!
Petty I know but its not that hard to keep continuity

No, the VS series is different and hasn't been shown yet.

+1. There were numerous continuity errors. Pretty poor all round.

Just watched the first two episodes of this. nothing new but I enjoy watching any airport fly-on-wall documentary.

I was saddened to hear the chap who loads the Qantas A380 every day had never seen inside it. Hopefully someone will give him a guided tour one day soon.

I watched it on ITV player last night (still not shown in Scotland).

Guys changing lightbulb. Cut to BA 787 on finals. Later, 787 touching down. Then a 767 taxying. I was half expecting a 747 to appear at the gates...

Then again later "here's the first plane to arrive at the new T2" [shows sillouette of 4 engined plane, probably a 747 on finals]
Next moment a United 777 parks...

The T2 opening was perhaps the blandest footage ever of such an event, I felt they could have made an entire series about it.

I am enjoying it but it's not really ground breaking and the continuity as already mentioned is terrible!

To be honest I would expect nothing less, I have had the fortune (?) to be involved in the making of a few Railway based documentaries over my time and they are exactly the same, you see an express intercity train on the outside shots then cut to a shot of a suburban bone crunch internally!!

I guess to the general public they don't understand the differences in such subtilises as as Class 142 vs an HST, or in the Heathrow example above a 747 vs a 777!

Has there been any more updates regarding when the Virgin Atlantic one is starting?
