You are right in what you state, however, I would envisage the floor drain emptying directly from the plane when a certain altitude was achieved. I am certain being low levels of fluid they would dissapate immediately.
Several posters on this site mention foul smells coming from the wcs if they are sat too close. If the wcs maintained a negative air flow or to explain myself better if they were more of a vacuum than the main cabin air/odours could never leave the wc into the main cabin.
Infact vice versa air would always be drawn into the loo.
Maybe this is already in place and the problem is they just cant handle the capacity on full long haul flights
