LOL

Looks like BA122 - a 777 from Mauritius is next in!
Even Qatar Airways are on the ball, QTR001 on it's way down from it's holding point over the North Sea to land at LHR.
There's a Qatar Airways A/C on it's way back down to LHR as well now too after circling over the North Sea for a while.

Hello, my name is HWV and I am both a GEEK and a GLEEK,;there must be some medicine for me somewhere! Perhaps in Grenada? ii)
Well I have to say I'm really pleased that the light has finally been turned on and all the people stuck abroad can look forward to getting back to the country they love being wrecked by a clown and his circus in No.10.
The problem now, if this is finally over, is all the news channels will be full of the election for the next few weeks.
Maybe we should go to Miami after all.

Have just seen what I think must be BA284 out of the kitchen window - is a strange sight after a few days of not getting about 1 plane a minute!
Caving in from economics & political pressure...a worrying perspective..
Lets hope the science bit hasn't been white washed by the management....

NH, Hobbit Land.
Now the fun starts. 6 days worth of no flights, a finite amount of aircraft and crews and the nagging thought that it can all change again means an interesting couple of weeks...
Thanks

Well done Willie Walsh! He's taken a lot of stick over the past few months but he's not afraid to make a bold decision.
So now the huge logistical operations begin... Would VS have the option of temporarily using G-VATL and G-VGOA that are currently being stored? They would sure come in handy over the next week or so!

I cannot believe how pleased I am about this, and I don't think it is just about our holiday, which may or may not be on.
When I saw the "test" 747 the other day while I was walking the girlie gundogs it brought back those "proud" moments that I, and many others, had when the wonderful Concorde overflew Twickenham when a rugby match was in process. ii)

It is a .wmv file - you may need windows media, realplayer or similar.

Economics always wins the day. Safety is always of paramount importance but only until it starts to cost too much money, although in this case it sounds as though the risks may have been overstated. Time will tell if that is true.

I've got something over Crawley on my iPhone but I can't work out who it is, it's not BA and not QATAR?
