Hi Guys,

I am flying to vegas on 2nd sept (VS043) and coming back from lA (VS024) on 15th sept.

Flying economy, I have chosen the following VS043: 61K & H. VS024: 61A & C.

I know you guys are very clued up on such things so i wondered if you think I have picked the best from the choice I have.

Any comments would be gratefully received!:D

Have a look on the seatmaps on this site and see if anyone has put a review on them.

Hi

On the way out to Vegas the plane will be a 747.

Plus points:
Row 61 is good as it is the first row in economy where it reverts to 2 seats instead of 3. As a personal choice I prefer row 62 as the row in front is only 2 seats whereas 61 has 3 seats in front and PAX reclining in seat 60K can reduce the space a little to your side (but not enough to actually cause you any worry). Bottom line is if you can move to row 62 do so, if not, don't worry 61 is a good choice.

Another bonus is that the food & drinks run gets to row 61 pretty quick so there is always a good choice of meals left.

Minus points:
A lot of PAX in front of you so you will in all likelihood be at the back of the queue by the time you get to US Immigration - Not a major issue, but can be a little boring waiting for your turn to go through[|)]

On the way back from LA on 024 > this is usually operated by an Airbus A343. Unlike the 747 this for the most part has a 2-4-2 seat arrangement in economy apart from row 61 back to 65 where it goes to 2-3-2. Food & Drinks will work in your favour again [y]

All in all a good choice of seats and hope you have a great time [y]
