Reward seat release?

Hi, I have booked reward seat updgrades (econo to UC) from LHR to Johannesburg and return from Cape Town to LHR.
Virgin has made a schedule change to the return flight and I will now need to fly back from Johannesburg but they say that at the moment there is no seats available. What can I do to get onto the Jo'burg flight?

UC Addict - I'm in the same sort of situation as am also interested in when G availability can 'open up' from JNB-LHR for March ( G is UC reward, BTW )

From reading other threads it seems this is about a week beforehand, but in the care of Jo'burg I wonder if it does as it's quite a good business route. I've just phoned FC about it and they couldn't give me a firm date when this might happen, but to call every few weeks.

At the moment, the 602 on the 13th March from JNB is showing as J7 D7 Z7 W7 S7 K7 Y7 B7 L7 M7 Q7 X7 N7 (ie: pretty open in all classes).

Bearing that in mind, you may end up lucky...

Thank you for the warm welcome and reply. I will have to keep calling. I just thought seeing as it was them chaning the schedule and therfore I need t change my flight they migh accomodate me?

Out of interest, what schedule change do you mean? I take it this is the change from it being a day flight to a night flight?

Yes the schedule change from day to night is making is very hard for me to be back in London for an early am meeting.
