does my seat fully recline

I'm flying to jfk from Lhr on a 747-400. I've booked seats 37J and K,
as the exit is directly behind these seats does anyone know whether they fully recline .

Extremely unlikely I'd have thought, and at best a very small recline.

They DO recline, as they back up into the crew jump seats, and they are nice because you don't have to feel guilty about reclining into someone else.

I have been in 37 before, as Juliet says they definitely have a normal recline, plus the bonus that you won't potentially be annoying anyone behind who's trying to eat etc..........

Feel guilty about reclining? I can understand the etiquette of not reclining your seat at meal times, but when you you get the passenger telling you not to recline, that does annoy me.

If in Y where space is already at a premium, and the person behind was tall/large or both then I would feel guilty about fully reclining my seat into their space. Out of consideration I would limit the amount I reclined my seat.

flew back from Thailand once in a Thai Air Y seat that did not recline even an inch - not at all amused.

Coming back from JFK last week was in back row of PE and I think they reclined the full amount even though the toilets were behind.

It is quite a common practice amongst airlines that where you have over-wing emergency exits the row immediately in front of the exit and the exit rows themselves do not recline or may only have partial recline.
