I have to say from my last flight to Barbados in UC hte lighting on board Virgin is stunning - The night flight is so relaxing it was nearly impossible to stay awake to watch a movie - 10/10 to Virgin

Unless the cc screws up and switches the lights back to "full sunrise" 10 minutes after "blackout".

Still that (and other niggles) got me 15k miles last time I flew...

I think as one of Virgins Y Improvments the should introduce this lighting into economy and PE

The ambience in UC is always much better than PE/Y. The slightly dimmer light sets a much better and calmer atmosphere than the harsh lighting used in other areas of the plane.

I think that PE/Y on the A346s may have more lighting options than the other aircraft, but not on the same level as UC.[:?]
Any comment from crew?

Yes, there are more lighting options for W/Y on the A346. The crew have the option of increasing/decreasing the lights gradually rather than just going straight from pitch black to full blast!

The EK A345's & B777ER's are even more impressive, even includes twinkling stars!!!
