VS Sydney Base

Does anyone how the base operates? How many crew are based in Sydney? Do they only fly between Sydney and Hong Kong? How many nights in HK do they spend.

The Sydney base at present only has cabin crew and not Flight deck Crew, and on average you can expect 2 x Sydney based crew on sectors to and from Hong kong, the remainder being hong kong and uk crew.

Aussie crew did catch me by surprise a bit when we went. Didn't realise they had some crew based there. But they were fairly easy to spot - the accent was a big clue.

They only spend one night in HKG!

The layover is around 18 hours!

Quite hard work for them but not much jet lag due to not much time change.
