Looks like Virgin America have chosen Panasonic to provide their IFE.

Do we think that V-America will have on-demand IFE (a la Vport on VA)?

I think it would be cool to have an element of that at least - perhaps as a PPV add-on - with live TV content available for free

It would help to differentiate them from Jet Blue, Froniter etc.

Panassonic is part of mascorp.

Looking at the mascorp website, there appear to be two versions of the x series IFE, eFX and eX2.

Both of which appear to be AVOD, with the eX2 system being sold as the single aisle solution - so I would guess it is this system Virgin America will be getting.
