i find it hard to see VS ordering the 787. Virgins moto is 4engines 4longhaul and the 787 will go againtst it. imho i think that virgin are going away from boeing for the time being and using more airbuses becasue they are more efficent and istbc but i think that the A346 has a longer range that the 747. if virgin were going to buy boeing they may go for the new 747-8 in the future but i cant see them buying 787s.

Wasnt it Airbus who coined the "4 engines 4 long haul" slogan?

There's a bit of background to the 787 in the Sunday Times today.

Is it me or are we gonna start going around in circles with the 4E4LH Slogan or 787 again, as VS045 has pointed out there is a long thread on the 787 there also one for the 4 engines 4 long haul.

So on that note i'm going to lock this topic.
