Farnborough Orders

Who are now trying to back out of the order....If you do a search you may be able to find the history of Qatars new widebody order,some people think VS is messed up,you should take a look at QR.

I hate to be moderatorish (but seeing as most of them are at Farnborough I might as well be), this has nothing to do with Virgin Atlantic.

I think there are a number of posts about possible orders for VS and how, when and who with these orders are going to be placed with. As the Farnborough Airshow is currently talking place, there are a number of rumours and news stories flying around as to has ordered what etc etc etc .

People are trying to put 2 and 2 together to see if VS has ordered 380's 360's 777's and so on - so when an order is confirmed it takes it out of the equation.

Personally I dont really care what VS has on its fleet as long as it gets me from A to B in safety and in the level of comfort/service for which I have paid.

Anyway - Jet wet is a mod and he replied - so thats good enough for me[y]

I'm not at Farnborough today but I'm happy to leave this thread here due to its tangential relationship to VS.

However, if people could please continue to check that they are posting in the right place (I've just moved a thread or two) then that would be nice...

Well seeing as there has been a lot of speculation about these 20 777s and VS over the past few weeks I think that it is related to VS - at least, it is in the rumour world;)

Mk, well, what ever happened to those A330s that Denzil and others said would be ordered at Farnborough? The days of ordering at the show are now over (tomorrow's show is just displays, no annoucements by Airbus or Boeing apparently), and we've yet to hear anything about VS. What's the deal?

On a side note,SQ makes a major order of 9 more A380's and 20 A350's.When this was announced I thought great,but what happens if there is another delay in the A380 program..well I figured it would take a little longer than a day for another problem to come up link.

Maybe not at Farnborough, but I'm sure we'll be seeing some VS orders sometime soon - there's no smoke without a fire and all that;)
