Gatwick depatrues tomorrow (15th August)

Any news on delays tomorrow (15th August)?

I was hoping the VS43 was delayed again tomrorow but is showing the normal published depatrue time at the moment.

Anyone know any different?

OK - Obvious question I guess - why are you hoping it's delayed?

If you think a delay means you can check-in later this isn't the case. Check-in will still close 1 hour before scheduled departure where possible... to free up space for other flights needing to check-in

Just got back from MCO yesterday and was on the VS28, even though it was blatantly obvious the flight was going to be delayed (the previous 2 days had seen delays in the 4-6 hour region) we were still instructed to check in as normal. The result was still a 5.5 hour delay though [:(] - all I could think was 'thankfully we have the lounge - even if it was the Delta one'. TR to follow.
