Are there set times of the year when VA have sales??

I want to go to SFO on the 1st Sept and currently looking at £346 on a Y miles plus money fare. Wasn't sure whether to hang back just incase there is a sale later on in the year.

Plus, I've never travelled to SFO in Sept, (I am a B&S gal to Orlando in June)so really not sure what would be a good price or not. Any thoughts/comments???

Sales for most airlines tend to fall around the low season and after Christmas, so around January to April and October to November/December. Prices all depend on other airlines competing fares and whether passengers are buying tickets. Virgin have just had a fantastic sale for all classes around and after Christmas.

September doesnt tend to figure in the sales, its just after peak season and highly route dependent. I think the fare you have sounds pretty good for SFO MpM.

Thanks,
Sarah

The VS sales will start about 2 days after I book my next round of flights, it is the law, so if you like I will drop you a line next month when I book januarys flights.

There's a new sale on for UC fares from 16th Dec to Jan 31st. Some limits on the destinations, but good value for Z fares I think. I'm going to book mine for late Jan
