Flying to NYC on Wednesday on VS17 UC, but might be getting an earlier flight. Need to see if they'll free up any revenue seats for me and my miles ticket. Does anyone know what the VS9 has been flying with these days? A346 Suite? The VS17 is usually A343 isn't it?

Oh... and if anyone is flying on Wednesday and would like to be my guest in the Clubhouse, give me a shout.

Take a peek at http://www.v-flyer.com/chance.asp and you'll see that VS17 is pretty much always a 343 and the VS9 has been a 346 -- in recent weeks VS has used the UCS-equipped planes I think.

damn. I'm going on vs9 on the 30th. So if you fancy waiting a week and letting me into the CH with you, since my gold expired :(
Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an op-upgrade from PE to UCS :)

I flew on the VS9 the other day and to say it was busy would be an understatement - they were constantly looking for people to come off the flight as it was so overbooked.

Then again, the VS17 is normally busy so they might want people to travel on the VS9. But don't get your hopes up in case it doesn't happen

Got a seat on the VS9 tmrw. Its A340-600 UCS.

Looking forward to trying out the new suite.

(Big thanks to James at flying club gold for "finding" me a miles seat on this otherwise busy flight)

Thanks for the info about VS17 Tinkerbelle, always useful to know.

I have heard that there are a few individuals who always try to to book on busy flights - just to get VOed;);)
