I am on VS603 departing Heathrow 2035 on Friday, PE.
How bad are the security ques likely to be?
How much time should i allow to get through them?
Is Friday worse than other days?
I know it's not an exact science but any info would help.
Thanks:D

Several thoughts can be found in this thread, from a couple of days ago.

You are right, it isn't an exact science. When we went through Fast Track last week, there was no one in front and we went straight through.

The other side was a bit busier, but not too bad - the presence of a TV crew filming the people in the queues, may have had an influence on it though. ;)

You are usually OK for the later VS flights as T3 is calming down somewhat after the morning/mid-day rush. The same can also be said for VS check-in. Although saying that when I was at VS check-in around 08:30 the other week on a Friday for the VS21 which departs at 12:00, it was very quite indeed, as was fast-track.

The late flights can have serious queues, as a lot of far east flights (not just VS) leave in the evening after 9pm ish. Depends entirely on the day, some days are VERY busy, others, just feel like 'normal'.

Not much help, I know, but there ARE a lot of flights that leave T3 in the evening.
