A few months ago I posted asking whether I would get miles and tier points for flying in VS metal on a CO flight number. The general consensus was that I would not. However, today I checked my flying club account for the first time since my flights at the beginning of april, and a total of 7916 miles (LHR-JFK and JFK-LHR) and 2 tier points per sector (I was flying economy) had been put into my flying club account :D:D:D

Interesting - I was one of those who thought that you couldn't earn miles this way and when I flew Continental last year, I made sure that the transatlantic flights were not on VS metal/CO flight number or CO metal/VS flight number. Does anyone know if what has occured to chrisV is just a mistake by Flying Club or can miles be officially earned this way?

I would advise keeping quiet about it..mistakes have been known to happen, general rule of thumb is play dumb.
