LOL - I knew someone would pick me up on that! Thing is though, presumably this guy, having served in the military, would have a been regarded as non-alien (alien - always amuses me) and therefore low-risk? Compare and contrast this with the way aliens are screened.... always knew it was way OTT, this kind of confirms it....

Maybe TSA/Homeland secruity are starting to learn that it's not just about stopping suspects from entering the US but stopping the suspects who are flying from US airports.
