Just been on the BAA Glasgow site looking for the time of an incoming flight and noticed a lot of VS numbered flights coming in from LHR which are obviously codeshare flights. eg VS4002 VS4004 VS4006 etc

Does anyone know how you can book these flights and do they have miles / tier points attached?

thanks again

This is the BMI flight BD002, which VS have a codeshare with. Flights earn miles/TP's are per the partner/codeshare T&C's on the VS website. You can book direct with BMI, or with VS.

Guessed it would be BMI, just thought it would be pretty nice to have a VS ticketed shuttle [:p] - I assume you would have to phone VS direct as it doesn't look like there is any way to book these on the internet.

Would be nice to have somemore VS flights from Scotland, but in this climate, it's probably a long long way off.

ISTR you can't book just the UK Domestic sector standalone under the VS flight number.

It would have to be part of a through booking on VS.

The interesting one I had was when I was doing AMS-LHR-SFO and vv on VS, with BMI providing the AMS-LHR bit of the journey.

I wanted to break the journey on the way back to AMS and go for a shower in Revivals. This was no problem in itself - ticketable, and the fare was the same. But, the next BMI flight didn't have a VS codeshare attached, so it was under the BD flight number *and* had to be paper ticketed! If I had been on the VS codeshared flight, it would have been an e-ticket. How weird is that?
