Flight Delay-LAS-LGW 25/08?

Does anyone know why VS44 from Vegas-London was delayed today by 3 hours?

No idea other than we had a nice storm roll through town around 4pm.

Ok, I'm on tomorrow's VS44 flight and for the past couple of days there has been long delays from LAS-LGW! I'm also trying to read the turbulence maps for tomorrows route and i'm not making much sense of out them. So if anyone would like to tell me if there will be a lot of turbulence over the US/Canada tomorrow that would be great.

I was in Vegas in early July and at that time nearly every flight was late departing LAS. Inbound flights from LGW were delayed upto about 90 minutes but seemed to arrive in LAS close to schedule.

On one particular afternoon, after spending 45minutes on the taxiway waiting to depart the 744 lined up on the runway and was then made to taxi the full length of the runway to take off in the opposite direction.

Is there a problem turning the aircraft round at Vegas or is it ATC? I suspect a bit of both
