I know sometimes the booking amendments line at VH gets a bad press, but having just phoned to change my New Year booking this morning, I was very impressed [y] [y]
I called about 10:00 this morning and only had a few minutes wait before someone answered (I was using the FVC priority line which now just puts you though to the normal new/amended booking departments)
It wasn't just a straight forward amendment either. It was a date change, a destination change, a VS cabin class change and I've also added an extra night as well (long story...dont ask, but basically everything that could be changed was changed [:I])
Anyway the chap who dealt with my booking was very friendly and helpful and sorted everything out with out any problems what so ever [y]
I've now got exactly what I wanted. I can't see the new flights on the VS web site yet (using my VH booking ref still shows the old flights but VS say it will probably come through to them next week)
It's also worth noting that a Saturday night stay must now be included in a VH package when flying VS for new or amended bookings (existing bookings are excluded from this new rule)
Regards
