Virgin and BA Cut Fuel Surcharges

According to various online reports, both Virgin and BA have reduced their fuel surcharges.

There is a press release on the BA website, but I can't find anything for Virgin.

What I really want to know is, will I get this reduction on a flight next year that I've already booked and paid for?
