I travel to Sydney quite regularly and apart from Business trips on SIA in F and a never to be repeated BA trip in Y have always booked with Virgin. The flat bed, CH experience here and Hong Kong and good deals if booked in advance have not disappointed.

Lately however I have noticed that V flyers are reporting great service at competative prices on other airlines. As I am about to start looking for Feb 2010 flights are there any other Business Class, LHR - SYD routes that I should be considering?

Many thanks

Lately it seems to me that V-Flyers have been reporting great service on VS.

However, from London the options include (one stop max.)

- Etihad via Abu Dhabi where you get the great business / first terminal and I think there's a TR here somewhere in the other airlines forum that was complimentary
- BA / Qantas - the Qantas A380 option looks inviting
- Malaysian via Kuala Lumpur which doesn't seem to get much buzz
- Singapore, which you know
- Thai via Bangkok
- Cathay via Hong Kong which I have found to be sub-UC standard

Why change if you like what you get?

Thanks Slinky09 [y]

I agree and it will almost certainly be VS but with so little experience of this route on other airlines I thought I would explore before booking.
