Will LGW Clubhouse closure dates be extended?

Does anyone know if this re-fit is scheduled to go on longet than the Nov 30 suggested completion date? I ask because I am flying out of Gatwick (first time with VA from LGW) to Barbados on the 7th December and the clubhouse access would be apprecited. I know that we can use the south terminal room, but lugging a 9 month old baby about with all the associated bits is headache inducing, and am really rather keen on checking out the new clubhouse - if it's anything like LHR it's going to be great.

There's a long and discursive thread on this here (findable using 'search') - as to whether it will complete on time, hmmm [:?] how many such projects complete on time, budget and to spec.?
