URGH so confused and annoyed right now.
General advice on whether using miles (60,000 to save 1000) is worth it. I'm totally ummming and ahhhing about when to book our Feb 2010 trip. I waited for the birthday sale hoping (in vain) that Orlando may be included and that it would go past the end of the year. We all know how that turned out [n]
Now today the LGW-MCO route in Upper has gone up by 25pp [xx(]so I called to get prices on economy with immediate G class upgrade and Z fare back results as above.
Unknown anomaly I know but I don't know whether to wait for another sale during the summer or what to do. HELP please. I always in the past have booked 11 months out and not until my last trip where I had serious issues and needed to move flights did I realise this is not the best thing for us to do anymore.
Any advice welcome thanks you lovely peeps! [:X]

If you can get G's on an MCO flight and you 'only' have 60k miles then go for it, if you close to the magical 100K mark I would skip it this time.

I would go for it. MCO is not a regular sale destination, especially in UC, and with G's being like gold dust I would just grab them.

Cheers guys! You gave me the friendly shove I needed. Just booked [y]
When I thought about it you were totally right. MCO is so hard to grab G seats and if you can get the outbound you can rarely get the inbound. That said for anyone that DOES have 100k miles, there is a reward seat MCO-LGW on both the 20th and 27th of March. I could not believe it when I saw them.
I tried doing a L class return with G upgrade for 1 person and then buy a Z fare to go with it but it worked out fractionally cheaper by 50 to do the L (G upgrade) and the z back for 2 people.
Either way I saved a grand so I'm happy.
Thanks again. [:D]
