Hi Guys

This is a bit of an odd question. Ive just booked a holiday using Virgin holidays. If I log into the virgin holidays website and review my details everything is fine. If I log into the Virgin Atlantic website to select my seats etc the passenger names arent right.

I noticed it says that the passenger names listed there must match EXACTLY what is in your passport.

On the Virgin Atlantic website it lists my name fine as eg. Mr John Smith, but my girlfriend just says e.g. Miss J Doe instead of Miss Jane Doe

Ive tried calling Virgin Atlantic to get them to change if but they keep directing me to virgin holidays. The member of the service team I spoke to at VH said a request had been made but it will take a few days to change.

Im not holding my breath for that to happen to be honest. Can anyone suggest what I can do? I want to talk to someone preferably not from an Indian call centre who can just make the simple change.

Any advice?
Thanks
Nick

How long before you fly?

If it's days, keep nagging daily.
If weeks, keep looking and chase once a week.
If months, email and phone if not changed.

Looks like someone put a hold on the spaces but then never followed it up.

It looks like you have done everthing you can.

VS will refer you back to VH because they made the booking.

As VH told you, you need to give it a few days, allowing for the weekend too, then check again and then call again if its still not right.

Better still email them, then you will have something in writing to show that you asked them to make the correction, along with their response.

You need to give them a chance to make the change before jumping up and down
