Hi,

Its 100k miles for LHR-LAX and again for LHR-NBO, so 200k total for a return for you in Upper (you didnt specify which class you wanted to fly). It would be 150k miles for Premium. Take a look at the Spending Calculator on the VS site.

If you know when you want to travel you may be led by availibility, it might make sense to buy one leg (NBO would likely be cheaper) and use miles on the other (say LAX). You could fly PE with your miles if you can get another 10k miles to take you to the required 75k.

Using the Miles plus Money (or 'M+M') option is also a possibility, that will cost you 15'000 miles per Upper fare (30k in total for you) or 7'500 (15'00 total) for a Premium fare.

The other option, one that many V-Flyers favour is to buy the lowest upgradeable fare and use miles to upgrade, so buying an 'L' Economy fare and upgrading to Premium Upper with miles. You use less miles and earm more back but it does cost you more in cash. Here is the page on the VS website with the upgrade charges in miles. At 20k return (40k for you) to upgrade an Economy fare to Premium, that would be another possibility.

Thanks,
Sarah
