seat selection in u/c to lax

hi,just about to book a trip to hawaii for next year for 2 adults and 1 child. any ideas about seat selection in u/c from lhr to lax ?

A good place to start is Which Aircraft? and then from there to Seat Ratings.

One key bit of information is how old the offspring is as this may determine requirements for bassinets (sp?) etc.

If the child is of an age where they will obey reasonable commands (ie sit and stay) and doesn't need to be in constant visual contact, you won't go far wrong with 3,4, and 5K.
