Due to take VS15 in cattle class to take the family out to see the mouse next month. What are the OLCI lines like at LGW these days? My parents went through LHR to IAD a couple of months ago and they waited just as long in line having checked in online as they would have done by just turning up.

As I'm close enough to LGW to do twilight if needed I'm trying to decide whether to use twilight to keep the kids boredom levels at the airport as low as possible. Also, if we were to try for a late (paid for) PE upgrade, would these be available through twilight or do they hold these back until the day of the flight?

Thanks.

If you live close to Gatwick then using Twilight the evening before can reduce stress levels immeasurably.

As your destination is Orlando and next moth sees Half Term, getting an upgrade may not be so easy to come by - travelling economy is a necessity for many families anywhere close to the school holidays.

Thanks Buns. I've done both in the past but I'm trying to find out if OLCI lines are bad these days.

If you are travelling in October I would ecpect the 1/2 term traffic to be busy anytime after the 1st week.

I think the previous Poster suggested Twilight would make the trip more stress free. I took this to mean the lines are long.

Have a great time!
