I'm booked in PE on the VS21, departing saturday 17th Oct, and it's showing as J0 D0 R0 Z0 W0 S0 K0 Y2 B0 L0 M0 Q0 X0 N0 ![:0]

The next day's flight (sunday 18th) is showing as;
J9 D9 R9 Z9 W0 S0 K0 Y9 B9 M9 etc.[8D]

Is it worth offering on the 17th to go a day later (because it looks like they're going to have problems on the 17th) if they can upgrade me (I'm a Au if that helps adn was booked in PE months ago on the 17th flight?)to UC, or would that be rude [:D].

It might well be that come the day there will be plenty of space with 'no shows'.

If you are denied boarding or offered to go the next day, all well and good, but if it were me I would't bank on being that lucky

It wouldn't hurt to ask, but don't bank on it.

I have been on flights showing straight zeroes before travel and have had spare seats.

I have also been on very busy flights that have shown sevens the day before. [?]

I would never rely on those figures as they always seem to be wrong.

The last flight that I was on that was showing lots of availability was actually overbooked by around 70 people!

How do you see how booked up a flight is in certain classes?

They don't.

To check if there are reward seats the best thing to do is to log in to your Flying Club account and do a dummy booking with the dates you wish to travel and see if anything is available
