We flew Virgin Blue in August, and the miles did n't appear on the account automatically, we suspected we would have to do a manual request, when the agent at Hamilton Island said she did n't know how to do add a Virgin Atlantic FC account to the booking. The agent in Sydney for the outbound flight said she did it, but clearly that did n't work either.
I wrote to them around the 20th October, chased it last week, was told by the FC Gold team, that they had n't been processed yet, they must have been lost in the post as things are always done in under 4 weeks.
I did say that my experience was that they actually take over 4 weeks, but the lady I spoke to was n't prepared to check with the FC team that handle these things.
I was just in the process of gathering my evidence, as the original till-receipt tickets were sent with the letter when I found they have eventually been added.
It took 9 weeks to get the Virgin Blue miles added from the point I wrote the letter.
