Is that the holiday packages or flights on their own too?

No details as yet, apparently I'm getting another email on the 26th with more information. This was from the Frequent Virgin Club.

I didn't realise Virgin Holidays _did_ standalone flights?

As Decker has pointed out, VH don't just sell flights on their own. Flydrives are the closest you will get, but I have found those to not be very competitive when compared to booking flights/car hire separately.

There are rumours that VS will be starting a sale in the next few days, the BA sale is meant to start today which usually means VS will follow suit shortly.

Neil - we frequently save hundreds booking FlyDrives over VS direct. In the most recent booking we saved nearly 900 this way. Note this only works on Premium Cabins at relatively short notice.

Interesting. I have been looking for a couple of dates next year, and with everything added in, they are coming out at about 500 lump sum more than flights and car hire direct.

Also interesting what you say about the premium cabins too, again, I have found recently the VH upgrade prices to be very expensive, compared to a VS low bucket fares.

Just goes to show that it is still worth checking around then and depending on the dates it can work in your favour.

Yes VS wanted 2,600 for a PE out UC back - flights in Jan to NYC. VH came in at just over 1600 with the 10% discount.
