Waitlisted for tommorows VS5 - Any Chance??

I wait listed for 2 tickets on tommorows VS5. right now they are full. What is the chance before 7am they will get availability?

EF shows 14 empty seats in J and W. Y is rammed.

Just out of interest, I am not familiar with 'wait listing'.
Is it a staff thing?
Would someone be good enough to enlighten me, please?

I believe that wait listed = standby

I got wait listed once by VS/VH. I'm not sure it's exactly the same thing as standby though?

I'd booked PE via VH (so a VH H PE fare) but VH must have over-sold their PE allocation and I was told by VS that I was on a full W fare (this was before you could see your fare code online) but I was wait listed for a H fare, which did eventually materialise.

So in my case, I had a seat but not the correct fare.
