Could one of you very kind experts point me in the direction of a non stop carrier from New York to Vegas and back. I know rewards to Vegas are a probable no no but I don't mind doing 4 nights in New York a week in Vegas then another 4 in New York to get the reward flights over the pond. I would want to fly business or first for the internal flights.

Unless someone has a better idea :?

Thank you guys n gals

OK will give it another go, last night it just threw up JFK SFO LAS.

Won't be until next June so if VAA do it I will be very happy.

I did this trip in November and flew CO from EWR to LAS. Excellent journey earning flying club miles and tier points with VS.

I'd go with CO as well, for all the noise around VX you still don' get TPs, if you are going to pay for 1st on CO you will actually earn 2 TPs and a decent chunk of miles, and their first service offering is certainly competitive.

Not sure if you collect BA miles as well as VS but if you do then LAS is just far enough from NYC to trigger the full tier point and mileage earning in first if you fly one world (ie AA).

Therefore for a first return JFK->LAS you earn a whopping 360 TPs (same as flying BA first to the US) and ~8000 miles.

EGG,
If it's purely to use Gs in order to get to Vegas how about using SFO or LAX (or both) instead? Good access to Sin City via both of these with VX (and plenty of other carriers)? AND a much longer UC flight too from Blighty :D :D .
VX is an excellent product - those First seats are sooooo comfortable :D :D
