Hi all,

I'm sure I read somewhere on the VS website that you could link FF accounts for example a husband and wife could share the miles.

I can't seem to find it now, so have I completely imagined it, confused it with the Executive club where you can do this, or just not find it now?

thanks in advance!

Hi,

You cannot join FC accounts, so that the miles from both yours and your wifes flights both go in to the same account.

What you can do is make each other authorised users on your accounts, that way you can spend each others miles without the need for the other to give authorisation each time.

Then you can use some miles from your account and some from her account to buy one reward flight. Although you cannot just use a random amount from each account. If you wanted to buy say an UC reward flight for 100k miles, you must use 50k from each amount, as that is the required amount of miles for 2 x one way UC reward flights. You couldn't use 70k from one account and 30k from the other.

Neil has it spot on...just one tiny thing to add.

You can be authorised on each others accounts, but it doesn't HAVE to be both ways!!!!

I.e., you could be authorised to spend the Mrs miles, but this doesn't NECESSARILY mean she HAS to be authorised to spend yours - just thought I'd mention it!
