Hi everyone new member just joined, have been on Virgin flights about 12 in the past 8 years used to be only able to afford economy but because of the leg room, we are tall and not so small people have managed to upgrade to premium. As regards to the meals when we went a year ago to Vegas the meal was dreadful could not eat most of it.Then on the return they had run out of everything by the time they had got to us, so sent down for an economy meal, don't think a hungry rat could have eaten what they brought back Have looked at the menu on your site and it looks almost edible, would be grateful for any more info on this and seating etc, as we going to Vegas again on the 6th sept PE with Virgin holidays.

Aaron

have a read of some of the recent TRs for the Caribean routes as they often include what people ate.

Malin just noticed your post

depends what you mean by 'any more info on this' and do you have a specific question re seating. The more specific your question the better chance someone will be able to answer it.

Thanks for the quick, if slight abrupt reply! The TR's for the Caribbean routes are either in different classes or before the new Menu arrived!

Re tontybear, sorry for being so vague about menu etc, just had so many bad meals when we have flown with Virgin wondered if anyone else had, and as no seating plan available on flight out but Honey Lamb suggested olci which we may try to do but as travelling down day before may not have time.

Hi

Myself and wife are flying PE VS005 LHR-MIA 11th September 2010 returning VS006 25th September

If any of you poor souls in UC are desperate for the superior PE meals we will grudgingly volunteer to swap our PE ones at no charge (a glass or 2 of champers wouldn't go amiss though).

Get in quick, as I am expecting a stampede.

You should have the new menu then as I believe it's changing at the beginning of September.

It's a shame the menu is due for a change, I fancied the summer choices.

Hopefully someone will post the new PE menu as soon as it is slopped out to passengers.

Never mind - I'll take a pork pie and packet of pringles in case it's inedible.

As I have said in many of these threads, but will repeat again for the newbies (hi all btw) on more than one occasion when flying in UC I have requested a PE meal, VS have this nasty habit of making the UC meal overly complicated which ends up being an inedible mess. So don't be so quick to give up that PE meal.
