Hi Everyone,

I'm currently trying to book a flight LGW-UVF 10/12/10 - 17/12/10 but the VS website is showing "No Flights" even though they fly there every Friday.

Would anyone be able to check whether these flights are actually full or if it's just a glitch in the system? Ideally I wanted to use Miles & Money, but I don't hold out much hope of that!

Many Thanks,

Matt

We had this conversation over on Facebook some time ago. It was suggested to VS that it would be much better to show 'no seats available' rather that 'no flights'.

So far, nothing has changed though. n(

I agree Nick, to most people using the VS site it looks like they don't fly there on the days they are fully booked.
A small change but it would provide much better clarity!

This is interesting.....

Just checked the VS site for these same flights again today... Available!

Not sure if VS were deliberatly holding these seats back or whether there was a glitch in the system... I suspect maybe the latter. I even spoke to reservations on Thurs who confirmed that the VS31 on 10/12 was completely full in Y.

Whichever way, it's not great business... I was on the verge of booking with another carrier last week. v(

Am not sure why VS would hold back seats on its own planes - surely its better to have every seat filled with a paying pax?

Yes it could be a glitch but it could also easily be that the seats had been sold / earmarked but these have now been returned to VS for some reason and they have put them back on general sale.
