Free status at Hilton Honours for Flying Club Gold members?

Hi, have been viewing this site for a while...really interesting reading and my thanks to all for the many useful tips!

So, my first question. I seem to remember a while ago that Flying Club Gold members were given free Gold status at Hilton Honours. Now, I could have made that up...and I certainly can't find any reference to it now...but am sure I remember reading it somewhere.

Can anyone help??
