LGW-MCO 30th Nov PE. it will be the best flight ever ,whether the food is crap,no booze,bumpy all the way.
WHY ?
cos yesterday the nice US embassy approved our visas and the flight is one way and our exit from the UK to our home in Florida. year round sun -cant beat it :D

Did the SF one way trip 10 years ago. Depends where in the Bay area you stay. Go literally 10 mins north into Marin and it can be 20 degrees warmer!!

No Hurticanes out this way, just little trembles ;)

thanks Buns ours has been in the planning for 9 years. once we applied it has taken about 3 months.

I cant wait till someone asks us 'have you got a return ticket' and we can reply -dont need one !!

Sadly I never got asked about the return ticket - but perhaps they spotted I do actually have a flight back in November already...

Out of interest - what Visa did you get? I'm on an H-1B with a vague plan to apply for a Green Card soon.

That's a lot easier - with a half decent lawyer you should be all set in a few months, and you won't have to endure the purgatory of years of waiting that can be the GC process :)

That's what makes it such an amazing wine growing area - such a range of climates in a small geographic area - whites in the south (colder) and Reds in the north (Hotter)
