Have just checked in for tomorrows flight to Orlando VS027 on a 747 400 config 2? Can anyone tell me which plane we could possibly get with that configuration?? We are keeping fingers crossed for anyhting not a NOVA system. Need to keep the 7 year old as occupied as possible... :)

The LGW config 2 a/c (as on VF) are fitted with the Odyseey IFE so you are in luck!

On this subject,, does anyone know which configuration it is likely to be on the VS029 going out of Gatwick to BGI and returning on VS030? we are traveling on Thursday 25th November, returning 9th December.

Hi Geribloo

Expert flyer shows LHR config 4 aircraft on both legs, which means V-Port rather than the Odyssey or Nova IFE systems that are the usual from LGW.

But do remember aircraft can be changed at short notice for techincal reasons, so don't be too disappointed if it is not as you expect

Welcome to V-Flyer

An easier way to establish which config is scheduled for your flight is to go into the Manage my Booking page on the VS website and look at the seat map. If it shows UC seats in the bubble then it is a config 4 plane; if it shows PE in the bubble then it is a LGW configured plane which will be either Nova or Odyssey. If however 60% of seats have been pre-allocated you will not be able to see the maps.

I have checked on Expertflyer for you. To find out which plane configuration you need to click on the seat icon at the right hand side of the pane with your flight. If it has UC as rows 6-12 then it is a LGW config. According to EF, both your flights are on these planes
