Gatwick Twilight Checkin

Hello all, I'm hoping someone may be able to help me regarding the twilight checkin at Gatwick.

I notice there is a 6Kg (I think) weight limit on hand luggage, do we need to take this with us to check in the evening before? Or will they check and weigh the hand luggage before we board the plane the next day?

Never done the Twilight before and don't want to turn up on the morning of the flight and have to start messing about with luggage.

I know the simple solution would be not to pack as much in the hand luggage but we never end up travelling light and use as much space as we can when we go away!!

i have never taken hand luggage for Twilight CI not have i ever had it checked ,weighed etc, so i guess yuo could 'push' it. we never do -i like to travel light

Hi ollyc, don,t know if I can be of any help did the twilight check in 3 weeks ago and it is excellent nobody waiting and just went up to one of the many agents free.

We left our hand luggage in the bedroom and just took our main luggage they never asked and we went straight through the fast track which was busy but moving quickly next morning.

Better than the morning of departure when everyone is trying to check in for several flights all going within and hour or so of one another. Have a lovely holiday or break. y)

Same here but usually because we get dropped off at the terminal before going to check into the hotel.

I had a carrier bag of toiletries to use over night that we were throwing away in the morning (ran down shower gels etc) and I remember being asked if we were taking them with us when I explained not they were fine.
