The EWR clubhouse is going to be closed for refurbishment from 28Nov - 12 Dec.

Upper Class passengers will be catered for in the SAS Lounge (with VS staff on hand)

Obviously the new CH which had been mentioned in the past has gone by the board. However the news of a refurb is very welcome. I thought it looked a bit shabby when I was there at the beginning of September and I think slinky said something similar when he was through there a few days later

Absolutely HL. It's such a shame that we can't have a new clubhouse with showers and more facilities - but a refurb is welcome. Am glad I'm not passing through then, going into IAD and out of BOS during the closure!

Also, Jay - any timings on the new JFK clubhouse and private security?

I return to the UK on the 12th via EWR....

As I've just mentioned in another thread I prefer the EWR CH, so will definitely use EWR on my first NYC trip after Dec 12th!
