Hi,

I know G-VATL is currently in Manilla being prepped for return to service. Does anyone know what the first scheduled flight is and what date?

Also a totally seperate topic, how long does it take to make an A330? With first flight in May when can we expect to be seeing an A330 frame with a Virgin tail rolling around Toulose?

Thanks.

Welcome to V-Flyer.

Virgin don't release in advance which aircraft will be flying a specific route on any given date, for security reasons. Virgin staff have access to this information, but get into serious trouble if they post the details on public websites.

With regards to your second point, I assume one will be liveried up for publicity shots, but don't know a timetable. I just hope they are delivered in time to start their scheduled flights.

It was an ebay auction, and the people who won it named the a/c after their new born child.

it was only supposed to be for one year but it has persisted.

I am sure we will soon see VS metal appearing here http://www.planespotters.net/Production ... ex.php?p=4

Look out for c/n 1195 soon!

This appeared thismorning.

Well, I was largely joking - however, we were talking about A330 not A380, and the vertical stabiliser is not metal on an A330.

Anyway, serves me right for being jocular...
